GAC car culture project 3 : City Cars / Milan Design Week / 2024.
Mobility in cities is diverse and cities are diverse. That is why we have designed three cars that fit 2 majors cities we love : Milan and Guangzhou.
1 - City Pod is the daily driver for the elegant ‘Milanese’ in a hurry. From the outset of the project, we have been inspired by the cute Isetta from the 50’s.
2 - City Box is the tough and compact delivery vehicle. We wanted to revive that great Italian design approach seen on the 3 wheeler Piaggio Ape.
3 - City Run is a brand new concept, that mixes a compact package with attitude. It is a 2 seater coupé the size of a Hatch. We imagined the young and trendy Chinese users driving it around and gathering in Dong-Shankou district in Guangzhou.

Our advanced design studio is located in Milan, via Tortona. It is an ideal spot to show our latest creations during the design week every year in April.
For this second edition ( see our first edition GAC DW2023 on this website ), we displayed 3 projects :
1 - the Hyper SSR EV supercar ( GAC premium EV brand )
2 - Car Culture project #3 : city cars.
3 - Inside-Out project of fine art school students from Beijing (CAFA)
